Review of the Technology for Marketing and Advertising (TFM&A) Event, London

Published March 2015

What an exciting and insightful show! And a great chance to network and develop new connections. A few of the Claritum team made the trip to Olympia London last week for the TFM&A event and it was definitely time well spent. It’s always good to keep updated on new tech developments and trends within the Marketing and Advertising sector. The Tech of Today and Tomorrow zone with the ‘six madtech start ups’ allowed some crystal ball gazing into the future and the Exhibitor Demo Trail meant we could showcase a few clever pieces of tech that we may partner with so watch this space. As our time there was limited we couldn’t take in as many of the keynote speaker sessions as we wanted but we’ve downloaded some interesting reports and we’ll be following up on the insights as they’re posted on the TFM&A site in the coming weeks. We’ll be sharing findings in our future blogs so register for our updates. A slight departure from the norm, and a particular favourite for us, was the Media Trust stand. A leading communications charity in the UK it connects volunteers from the media, comms, marketing and training sectors with community projects that need help and expertise. So if you’re keen to share your experience and give something back then visit their website to see how you can volunteer your services. And last but by no means least, it’s always interesting to see how companies market themselves – from high tech wizardry and dashboards galore to branded cherry lip salve (thanks Shutterstock!), traditional fresh popcorn, flavoured air drinks, selfie mirrors and popping candy! It really was a day for all things digital so we left full of SEO, CRM, eCommerce, Mobile and much more…and now we’re content managing everything that we absorbed.
