Prof Richard Hillum
Richard is award-winning Chair & CEO with over 25 years experience in founding, running, turnarounds and growing global technology businesses, including – HPC Wales – the Welsh National Super Computing Service, Smart Antenna Technologies, Sofant Technologies, Camitri Technologies, Software Radio Technologies, Securicor Wireless, Intel Global & Linear Modulation Technology.
Rick is Chair of the University of Bath Dragons and Advisory Boards, SETsquared business acceleration mentor, Judge Bath MBA, a Visiting Professor at the Universities of Bristol and Bath and a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham.
Ian has a considerable track record in growing service based technology businesses in the UK and US. Ian’s management experience includes Ingersoll Rand, Land Rover, AT&T Istel, BIS Information Systems and Tarmac. He led an MBO of Cimage, a multinational software business, where he was President of the US operation and responsible for M&A. Ian sold Cimage to a French IT company with a successful exit for shareholders. Ian, as Co-Chairman, is focused on Claritum achieving its objectives.
Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer
Paul has over 25 years experience in commercial software development and IT. He has a track record in efficiently developing successful software and SaaS products for Sherston Software, Oxford University Press, DERA, BT, Smith & Nephew and KP-McVities. During his time at Sherston, Paul was responsible for bringing over 75 software titles to market on time and on budget. Paul is responsible for Claritum’s infrastructure, R&D and engineering capabilities.
Director of Finance
Phil is a qualified accountant and project manager with over 25 years commercial experience in multiple companies across many industry sectors. Skilled at maximising business performance with an emphasis on finance, strategy formulation, cost control, change management and profitability improvement. More recently he has, through his own consulting business, assisted various clients formulate strategies for growth, with the aid of detailed forecasting and financial models. His strengths lie in his commercial approach, operational experience, strategic vision and ability to maximise business potential.
Head of Marketing
Chris has over 25 years Commercial, Marketing and Business Development experience. Chris has a track record in developing successful marketing campaigns and driving new business development initiatives in high growth software businesses. His experience includes working at OpenCloud, Ubiquity Software and Newbridge Networks. Chris is a Chartered Engineer, with a strong track record in Business to Business software technology marketing.
Head of Operations
Kasia joined Claritum as a Customer Success Manager managing key accounts. Her role evolved to encompass implementation, project management and business administration. Previously Kasia worked for IBM where she held a position of a Service Delivery Manager looking after Allianz Global. Managing their operations across multiple locations. She joined IBM from Capgemini, where she had worked for over 7 years as part of a global team. Delivering Operations Training services to PricewaterhouseCoopers UK client base. Her experience has included global and major business change transformation projects. Working for customers like Lloyds Bank UK, City Council of Swansea, Premier Foods and many more.
