Implementation Services

Project Team

A project team will be established, including members from both the client and Claritum. This team would be responsible for the scheduling, implementation, testing and acceptance of the system. It is vital that this team is in frequent dialogue and meets regularly to ensure smooth implementation. Typically this would include:
  • Client board member
  • Client project manager
  • Claritum project manager

Project Planning

The project team will develop an implementation schedule (typically in MS Project) with key responsibilities and deadlines. This will follow a staged methodology including:
  1. Needs analysis
  2. Change specifications and schedule approval
  3. Software configuration, bespoke development and integration
  4. Beta release and client acceptance testing
  5. Client acceptance
  6. Live release and training
  7. Ongoing review and refine

Issue Resolution

Claritum will configure the existing functionality, manage change requests and fix bugs recorded in the issue logging system. All issues will be logged using Claritum's online issue logging system. The entire project team will have access to the issue listing.

Issues will be dealt with and resolved according to a standard policy. [See Appendices for issue tracking information].

Bespoke Development and Integration Services

Claritum provides bespoke software development and integration services, charged on a day rate against a pre-agreed proposal and implementation schedule.

All projects are managed on a case-by-case basis. After an initial needs analysis, Claritum will prepare an issue listing covering every change required to fulfil the client requirement. This will allow Claritum to assess resource allocation, costing and implementation timings for approval by the client.

Once approved, Claritum manage the implementation process including documenting each change, prioritisation of needs, project management, development cycle, testing and QA and the release management program. [See Appendices for sample documentation].

Quality and Testing

All change requests go through extensive testing and quality adherence prior to release to client. Client is expected to test new software, prior to acceptance and posting to live system.

Training

Train the trainer

Once implemented, we will provide training to users in a hands-on training session. Typical sessions are for up to four 'super-users' on a train the trainer basis. They are held onsite at the client's offices, using client configuration and computers. The intention is to ensure that key users have sufficient knowledge and familiarity to answer most regular user's questions. Additional training and refresher courses can be purchased.

Quick Start Guides

For key processes or release of new functionality Claritum provides a series of quick start guides. These are typically provided as MS Word documentation for modification by the client.

Web based training

For multiple users or bespoke applications, Claritum provides web based training.
